Through the value of our technology and the dedication and commitment of our associates we support the needs of the clinical study site, sleep clinician and researcher - from the beginning of the product selection process to the end where technical support may be needed. In 2008, we joined with Philips Healthcare, a global leader in healthcare, to continue to anticipate market needs and deliver solutions that are designed to help improve patient outcomes.
With data comes knowledgeThe data obtained from our devices reveal changes in various parameters such as heart rate, respiration rate, temperature, caloric expenditure, and sleep and activity, in human subjects 24 hours per day, seven days per week. This data has important implications for our customers who need reliable information regarding study endpoints in clinical trials, the assessment of problem sleepers within a clinical sleep lab setting, and research applications ranging from sleep and circadian rhythms to sports medicine and obesity.
Our technologyActigraphy — used for a variety of applications. Our Actiwatch device is a cost-effective, objective, ambulatory monitoring method that can be used on a variety of patients with a variety of sleep complaints. Three models are available to serve the various needs of the clinical study, sleep lab clinician or researcher. The PAM-RL device is an objective activity monitor specifically designed to help provide researchers and clinicians with a quantifiable method and high resolution data for assessing limb movements. The Actical covers the needs of the researcher or clinician in the obesity and sports physiology markets with the ability to seamlessly fit into a person's lifestyle and provide data on energy expenditure, step count and physical activity without the presence of a practitioner.
Telemetry — used to record and store core and dermal temperature data. Our VitalSense system is designed to be effective for monitoring temperature in active or inactive subjects and in indoor or outdoor environments such as clinical trials, sports medicine and military training. With the VitalSense XHR sensor, it is now possible to track heart rate and respiration rate with the VitalSense system.
